United Way – Project LEAD

Project LEAD

A healthy, vibrant community happens when everyone is engaged in civic life. And yet, here in ethnically and racially diverse King County, too many people of color are left out of the public conversation. United Way of King County is changing this with Project LEAD—Leadership Effectiveness And Diversity. This nonprofit leadership training program prepares highly qualified people of color to become knowledgeable, responsive and strong civic leaders.

If you know someone who should apply to be a part of Project LEAD email them a link to unitedwayofkingcounty.org/projectlead or contact our Project LEAD staff at 206.461.5014 or projectlead@uwkc.org.

Applications for the 2016 Spring Project LEAD class are now being accepted.  Details, including a class schedule, significant dates and an application, can be found here.   The deadline to submit an application is Friday, December 4, 2015
